Continuing Education
Elm provides staff with training on up-to-date OSHA, MSHA and other state and federal regulators. Training is on-going and brings our staff to the classroom as well as a hands-on experience in our state of art training center “Elm University”. Upon completion of trainings, Employees can earn certifications and update skills. 2023 marked our kick off of “HANDS ON SAFETY DAY” where field employees spend an eight hour day focusing on identifying hazards in the work place, mitigating these hazards and learning new skills so they can safely complete their daily tasks.
In tandem with the KPA Succeed Risk Management platform we develop the curriculum to remain flexible and responsive as our team brings real-world experience to the classroom. We build on our training agenda with presentations from safety and health professionals, as well as supplemental online modules.
This industry-leading dedication to safety has not gone unnoticed. Elm has continually received the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. and Gould Construction Institute annual S.T.E.P.
